Hello! I’m Ian Bernal, owner and bilingual Spanish-speaking DJ of I.G.B. Entertainment, specializing in unforgettable wedding celebrations and private events.
Based in Northern Virginia for over 15 years, I’ve had the honor of creating incredible music experiences that bring families and friends together. Growing up in a military household, I was fortunate to travel to amazing places like South Korea and Germany, which sparked my love for diverse cultures and global traditions. I later moved to the United States in the late 1990s and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages (Spanish and French) from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW).

“Ian made sure to ask my wife and me about our ‘play’ preferences, and he wasn’t the stereotypical DJ who just sticks to heavy DJ-style sets. He was a fantastic master of ceremonies who didn’t draw too much attention to himself, yet still created an incredible atmosphere from the relatively small list of songs we provided. I’m Italian and my wife isn’t, and he seamlessly mixed Italian music throughout the night along with all the disco classics we love!”

“Ian did a fantastic job DJing our wedding. Everyone was ready to dance when the time came — even after the COVID years, no one held back! He was very attentive to the different vibes we wanted to create throughout the night and perfectly matched the atmosphere for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.
